Dear Parents,
Today, March 10, 2008 each student was assigned a year during the decade of the 70's. Each student needs to write a one page report on smething that happened or interest them during that year. We talked about it today in class. Some suggestions are: politics, world events, music fads(clothes, toys, etc.), movies, television shows, popular cars, sports, inventions. I suggested to the students that they need to choose one thing and hand write a one page report. I also suggested that they can use the internet, Encyclopedias, public library or interview someone who remembers what they were doing during the 70's. The report is due on March 18, 2008. The students know that parents can help. I also suggested that if they found a picture on what their report is on they may attach it to the report. If there are any questions please ask me. Thank you.
